Welcome to Coastal Current Aquatics—where water safety meets joyful learning. Terry Brown, a certified Infant Aquatic Survival® Swim Specialist and licensed Physical Therapist, blends traditional swim instruction with survival‑based skills to help swimmers build confidence, safety, and strong technique.

Offering private and semi‑private lessons, Infant Aquatics®â€‘style survival swim, Aquababies classes, and aquatic therapy, Terry creates a fun, supportive environment that encourages progress and a lifelong love of the water.

Terry Brown instructed our youngest 2 year old daughter Julia. If your child were to fall in the water would they know what to do? Terry's lessons teach a child the skills needed to help save themself in this exact situation.
Kids are curious
Young children are naturally curious. They are drawn to water and don’t understand the dangers. Terry helps give these curious kids skills needed to be safer.
Customized Instruction For Every Student
Every child is different and unique in their own way. Also, all children develop at different rates and have different abilities. Terry works with children where they are, and understands that some will take a little longer to grasp our new skills than others.
Medically Based
Instruction is based on child development, behavioral psychology, anatomy, and infant physiology. We pay close attention to your child and their reactions during lessons.
Experience
With decades of experience as a Physical Therapist and a lifetime of aquatic journeys with all ages, Terry is able to assess and progress to reach the student's goals in a relaxed and fun way.
