Survival Lessons
All new students must complete private survival skill lessons before joining group classes, except my former students or those who've passed a trial lesson.
Baby Belugas 6mo-14mo
Babies should be able to roll over and sit unassisted for a short time to begin lessons.
This program 4 consecutive weeks. Classes will be held each day Monday-Thursday for approximately 10 minutes each.
Children will learn to:

Roll over from a face-down or submerged position onto their backs to relax and breathe

Maintain a back float fully clothed, including shoes, for a period of time.

Turtles 15 mo-3 years

These classes are 6 consecutive weeks. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday for approximately 10 minutes each day.
Children will learn to:
• Hold their breath in the water,
• Swim with their face in the water to the steps, side, or parent
• Roll to their back when they need to breathe, and roll back to their stomach to swim again.
• By the end of the program, the goal is for children to be able to perform all these tasks fully clothed.
24-private lessons - Monday-Thursday - 10 minutes

These lessons help prepare students to join Little Fins or Groupers
Dolphins 4+ years
These classes are 3-4 consecutive weeks. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday for approximately 20 minutes each day.
Children will learn:
• Swim-Float-Swim® technique
• Each child will learn to swim a short distance with face in the water
• Roll to their back to take a breath
• Roll back over to swim again.
• They will learn how to keep repeating this process until they reach a point of safety.
• Basic Stroke instruction
4-6 year olds: 4 weeks (16 private lessons) - Monday-Thursday - 20 minutes
7-10 year olds: 3 weeks (12 private lessons) - Monday - Thursday - 20 minutes
